DO NOT COME IN BASEMENT

Auto has come home with a strange metal sphere, which she's promptly schlepped down to her lab and stuck into a makeshift cage to keep it from rolling off anywhere.

She's currently engaged in scanning it with just about every methodology she can come up with. Oh, and humming AC/DC.

Social leads the way in a rather bouncy fashion to the Livewires' base: a rather quaint, pretty little farmhouse. Pausing just inside the door, she scoops up a small ball of black fur, which immediately turns into a demon-kitten intent on gnawing her hand off at the wrist. She beams and kisses it on the top of it's evil little head, and drops it in a nearby flowerpot. It turns its attentions to the ficus in the pot, apparently trying to get in touch with its inner beaver.

Running a quick sensor scan through the house, she pouts slightly and flops on the couch. "They're not home." She huffs a bit, then smiles cheerily at Daniel. "I guess we'll just have to hang out here until they get back!"

Another note on the fridge

A note (left sometime after they've gone out wherever and then come back):

An opportunity's come up--will be field-testing ordinance. I think you'll like The Big Gun once I can work out the kinks with it, Hollowpoint.

With luck, I might be able to get some werewolf DNA, too.

Auto is nowhere to be seen, though the electronics in the basement are still humming away happily.

Yes, he's being careful.

It's late at night, there's noone that his senses can detect that aren't part of the Livewires in at least three miles, and the sounds of the area around the farmhouse are completely and utterly natural. That means it's time to practice, and perhaps even blow off a little steam.

Hollowpoint is standing on top of the farmhouse, a coffee can of three-penny nails beside him. He's plucking them up, holding them between two fingers, and then flicking them into a tree about fifty yards away. As of now, he's been practicing his writing, the words 'Bored. Bored. Bored.' embedded in the tree.

Up on the fridge is stuck a note--'need more Mountain Dew'. A recycling bin full of empty cans of that particular soft drink is nearby.
